Hey guys! It’s been a week since my last review but I’m back today with a new application. Some of you may be familiar with Stacks in Da Place by MacXeagle, now known as PixiApps. This application allows you to customize your dock folders with stacks by simply dragging and dropping the stack icon into the window. Just a quick note: this application is no longer up for download. By clicking the ‘Stacks in Da Place’ link above, you will be downloading the application from my upload, not PixiApps or MacXeagle.
Stacks in Da Place is a simple application with one main goal and feature: to make customizing your stack icons easier. Although it is not updated any longer, the application is still useful. This application works for Leopard and should work for Snow Leopard. Iconpaper has a bunch of pages full of different stack icons if you want to build up your stack collection. Go check it out!
For those of you who do not know how to switch your dock folder icons from ‘Folder’ to ‘Stack’, it is quite simple. All you have to do is right click the folder and go to the ‘Display as’ section and click ‘Stack’. Now go and download the free Stacks in Da Place application to change the default stack icons to something awesome.
So what do you guys think of this application? Leave a comment with your opinion. Have a good weekend guys, and get excited for next week’s review! I would also like everyone to know that I am up for suggestions for next week’s review. You can email a suggestion or just a friendly comment at [email protected]
