  2. Robin says:

    The icons are still the same, and where can I get the background ? If i can get those 2, it will be a great theme, but right now it’s a simple skin of the buttons.

  3. Vivian says:

    It’s an OSX theme so there are no icons, wallpapers or docks. But it’s more than just the buttons… Anyway, the icons (drives and folders) are made by the same author and you can find them on Iconpaper but the wallpaper is not available for download.

    I love this theme. Is there a way to modify the color for the spotlight menu icon. I know I have to use Themepark but I cannot figure it out exactly. I downloaded the theme as a package.

    My Mac OS X is version 10.7.5 (Lion), macbook pro 13″

    I accidentally installed this Nuala Theme in my mac. I tried to uninstall it using the package installer but failed as the uninstallation is for Snow Leopard and not for Lion. So I have to manually replace all of the resources that were overwritten by Nuala.

    For those who’s using Mac OS X 10.7.5, follow the steps below to recover your mac to original theme.

    Note:
    I am sharing my own experience for your reference, I’m not responsible for any data loss or system damage that occurs on your mac. Follow at your own risk.

    How to uninstall Nuala:

    ///Step 1/// – Get the original system file

    First, you need to get the orignal system file, which is , from any mac user who is using Mac OS X 10.7.5 or any OS X version that is same as yours.

    How to get :
    Go to > Finder > Macintosh HD > System > Library > PrivateFrameworks > CoreUI.framework

    ///Step 2/// – Replace file

    -Go to > Finder > Macintosh HD > System > Library > PrivateFrameworks
    -Replace with the orignal one you got.

    ///STEP 3/// – REBOOT

    IMPORTANT:
    My finder is not responding when I replacing the file, I’ve no choice but to force quit finder and reboot my mac. During reboot, my mac stuck at startup.
    But I already found the solution and successfully resolved this issue. Now I am having my mac working well. The trick is, to connect your mac to another mac through Firewire! In this way, you can access to your mac in another mac even your mac can’t startup.

    If your mac freeze while you trying to replace the file, and you can’t startup your mac afterward, please follow the steps below:

    How to recover after mac stuck at startup:

    ///Step 1/// – Get the original system file
    - refer to Step 1 above -
    - Save the orignial into your USB or portable hard disk for later use.

    ///Step 2// – Connect your mac with another mac computer through Firewire.
    - Plug Firewire to your mac and the other mac computer.
    - Swtich on your mac.
    -When you hear the boot chime, long-press T. (Start up in Target Disk mode. )
    -Now, you will see your mac data is shown in the other mac computer.
    -Go to your mac data folder, look for the folder.
    -Replace the with the original you got earlier.

    ///Step 3/// – Reboot your mac.

    Hope this will help you out :)
