   This looks good, but I’m not seeing the files to replace under Resources. Are they somewhere else? Where do these ‘nib’ files go?

   The nib file replaces the current nib in Adium (right click, show package contents) > Contents > Resources. And the rest of the Resources go into the Resources folder too.
